How to Disable a VPN

Here is how to do it, depending on the device you are using:

On Windows PC

  1. Open Settings (press Win + I)
  2. Go to Network & Internet > VPN
  3. If you see an active VPN connection, click on it and press Disconnect
  4. Close the browser and reopen it, then try accessing again

On Mac

  1. Open System Preferences
  2. Go to Network
  3. Select the active VPN connection in the left sidebar
  4. Click Disconnect
  5. Close the browser and reopen it, then try accessing again

On Android

  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to Network & Internet > VPN
  3. If a VPN is active, tap it and select Disconnect
  4. Close the browser and reopen it, then try accessing again

On iPhone/iPad

  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to VPN
  3. Toggle the switch to disable the VPN
  4. Close the browser and reopen it, then try accessing again

If using a Browser Extension

Some VPNs work via browser extensions (like Chrome or Firefox):
  1. Click on the browser extension icon (usually top right)
  2. Find the VPN and disable or disconnect it
  3. Reload the page
